Travis' Eye II

In anticipation of a hike on the Buckeye Trail this coming weekend, I threw together a stone of an eye for a particular tree knot on the Buckeye Trail between Blue Hen Falls and Jaite in Cuyahoga Valley National Park. I’ve placed a number of such stones in this knot over the years (see Painted Stone #9, Painted Stone #17, Painted Stone #22 and Painted Stone #86). This is the third version of an eye that my friend, Travis, features in his artwork, including this stone I made for him on his birthday.
