Movie Manor

This stone was made specially for a cross-country trip to witness an eclipse in Utah in October of 2023. On my first cross-country trip in 2019, I stayed at the Movie Manor in Monte Vista, Colorado. It is a motel with a drive-in movie theater behind it. The cool thing was that you could watch the movies from the windows in your room, piping-in the audio of the movie you wanted to watch… and all the rooms are named after movie stars! I thought it was an interesting place so I made a point of staying there again on the next trip that got near it.
